The Dresser is a collage performance with image, movement, voice and text.
It gives a behind-the-scenes look at the theatre world, the magic, but also the fear and sensitivities and ultimately the imagination that triumphs over human failure.
An actor in crisis, on the verge of losing his mind. He is fighting for his life and for his passion for theatre. He is having a nervous breakdown, he is torn, he is lost in his own memory labyrinth. On the one hand, he wants to stop playing; on the other, he is addicted to the magic of theatre. Grandeur and decay, fame and loneliness, courage and despair.
