With film, music, performance art, and much more:

Pop Up Cinema and the Vormforensen

You start with a cup of coffee in the Village Hall, and then your thoughts are provoked by two short films from Pop Up Cinema, a platform for film and reflection that challenges you to reconsider your ideas and beliefs. You'll watch the short films BABA and NOBU about migrant fathers in the Netherlands. After that, you'll get a sneak peek of the new visual identity (and website) of Zwemers by the designers the Vormforensen.

Project Baraguda

Next, you swarm to the Franciscus Chapel for a live concert on the Guda Drum by Project Baraguda, performed by musician Rob van Barschot. He demonstrates the magical power of the Guda Drum and takes you into a world of rhythmic enchantment, blending various musical styles.

Pan~/Catwalk 55+

You end up in D'n Herd with Zwemer's performance act Pan~/Catwalk 55+, a version of the act created in collaboration with fifteen 55-year-olds from the House of Transportation in The Hague. 'Who hangs in your wardrobe?' the Zwermers asked them. The result: a group portrait illustrating the versatility of these people, who they are, who they were, and what inhabiting an aging body means for their freedom of expression.

And as a conclusion: locally brewed apple cider and tunes spun by Max Kurasawa!

Reservation: can be made through reserveren@zwermers.nl (pay what you want).
