Kraak: Qult Gathering: Voguing Class
It's time again for a Qult Gathering. And not just any one! VOGUING! It made its appearance to the general public through the documentary Paris Is Burning (1990) and Madonna's music video 'Vogue' (1990).
This dance style originating from the 60's Harlem ballroom scene is still an important part of queer history and culture today.
Always wanted to learn more about voguing? What is it? And why is this dance style such an important part of the queer community and history? Learn all about it during this voguing workshop for beginners! Elmer Pieternella is an intern at R-Newt and organises this evening. "In Tilburg, there are quite few events for the Queer and Ally community, which is why I want to work with R-newt and Qult to offer an introduction to vouge and voguing to the young people of Tilburg and the surrounding area."

Are you really excited and want to learn voguing yourself? Ahead of this evening, Elmer Pieternella is organising a free voguing course for beginners in collaboration with R-Newt at V39, Veemarktstraat 39. These will take place on the following dates: 9 November, 16 November, 23 November, 30 November and 7 December.
