Extension of parking Railway zone and shared cars
Extension P1
In the meantime, the P1 car park in the Spoorzone has been expanded. Approximately 180 parking spaces have been added to this area (there were already approximately 150 spaces). These parking spaces have been realised at the former temporary bus station. The current barrier of P1 will be moved to the middle of these areas. This is indicated in the attached picture. The exact date of conversion of the barrier will be communicated by ParkingYou to its subscribers.
Kiss & Ride
The Kiss & Ride (K+R) strip has been moved to the Burgemeester Brokxlaan opposite the Houtloods, behind EVE. See attached picture.
Scooters and bicycles
Bicycle and moped/scooter parking spaces have now been realised behind EVE, at the head of the former temporary bus station. See attached picture.
Electric shared cars for business and private use
As of 21 May, four parking spaces specially reserved for Amber will be available at the Burgemeester Brokxlaan. These are the new parking spaces for Amber's electric shared cars. Two parking spaces can be found at the residential care facility Joannes Zwijsen (opposite the UWV). The other two parking spaces are located at Boemel. The municipality of Tilburg and SDK Vastgoed make this service available to all people who live or work in the Spoorzone. So you never have to search for and pay for a parking space when you use Amber again.
Amber guarantees that there will always be a car when you need it. At any time of the day. So Amber can be a full-fledged replacement for your own car. In addition, Amber's BMW i3s run on green electricity. In this way, you contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions and parking pressure in the Spoorzone, leaving more room for greenery and recreation. In this way, the Municipality of Tilburg and SDK Vastgoed are helping to make your living and/or working area a little more sustainable and pleasant.
To use the electric shared car, you pay a rate per minute. So no entry or subscription fees. The shared car can also be left at hubs all over the country. Here you can always park for free. How exactly does this work? Click here for explanation and more information.
