Fresheads starts Tech Tuesday; event for developers
Tomorrow the very first Tilburg Tech Tuesday will take place, an evening where over seventy-five developers come together to inspire each other. During this free event at Wilhelminapark in Tilburg, three acquaintances from the field will give an inspiration talk: Matthias Noback, Hidde de Vries and Patrick Walthuis.
Tilburg Tech Tuesday is a new initiative of the Tilburg agency Freshheads. The idea? Inviting developers once every three months to catch up with each other. With seventy-five people present, the first edition is immediately full. "There is a clear need to share knowledge about tech in Tilburg and the surrounding area," says Vera Zonneveld, organiser of the event. "That's logical, too, because this area of expertise is developing continuously and at an extremely fast pace. All over the world and the Netherlands, of course, but certainly also in our region."
The speakers
PHP developer Matthias Noback, front-end developer Hidde de Vries and business development manager Patrick Walthuis will be the guest during the first edition. Topics such as 'advanced web application architecture', graphic design for the web, leadership and teamwork are on the agenda. "We have put together this programme by asking developers themselves which speakers and topics they find interesting," explains Vera. Everything is taken care of: drinks, pizza, chips and of course table football.
Next editions
The registrations and reporting concerning the Tilburg Tech Tuesdays are done via the digital platform Meetup. Tomorrow's event is already full with seventy-five participants. The next edition will take place on Tuesday 14 January 2020.
