New Pantos distribution centre opened on the Vossenberg industrial estate

The new Pantos distribution centre on the Vossenberg West II industrial estate was officially opened on Wednesday 16 May. In mid-2017, a plot of land of 14 herctares was sold to Prologis, a national developer of logistic storage and distribution centres. Part of this 14 hectares has been built for Pantos.

By merging the smaller parcels on Vossenberg, the municipality met the market's need for larger parcels. This means that the last large plot on the Vossenberg industrial estate, with a size of almost 400 hectares, has been sold.

Top region for modern industry and logistics
According to alderman Erik de Ridder, this transaction shows that Tilburg is an absolute top region for modern industry and logistics. This last part of Vossenberg is already home to many attractive companies, such as Tesla, Capi Europe, Claassen Logistics, XPO, GVT Barge Terminal and Coolblue. On the older part of Vossenberg are companies like Samsung, Elho, Syncreon, Ingram Micro, Partylite and Iris Ohyama.

New and existing companies are expected to be able to visit the Zwaluwenbunders and Wijkevoort business parks, which are yet to be developed, from the end of 2018/2019 onwards.
