Station88 welcomes new business partner MCSI
Another great development for Station88, House for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. On Friday 11 October, MCSI joined Station88 as a Business Partner. Together with the other partners, they form the basis of the place where entrepreneurs with growth ambitions can go with questions, where they can find information and share knowledge.
Arnoud van den Boel, Community manager of MCSI, about the partnership with Station88: 'MCSI is a cooperative of committed entrepreneurs who value social innovation highly. MCSI currently has 60 members and 26 flexible workstations on the ground floor of Building 88. We focus on social issues and requests for help in a changing society. By entering into the Business Partnership with Station88, MCSI has become part of a larger network. This allows the message of social and societal innovation to be spread even further. By making this connection, shorter lines can be laid between entrepreneurs, social organisations and government agencies and MCSI will become the socially innovative incubator it wants to be'.
Since the beginning of 2018, Station88, House for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, has been one of the pillars in the Spoorzone, where the stimulation of (new) economic activity is paramount. The aim of Station88 is to combine, initiate and facilitate activities in and from Station88 for the benefit of economic development in the Central Brabant region. Station88 is the meeting place for entrepreneurs, market parties and knowledge institutions, where people can share knowledge, find information and ask questions. Meetings are organized on the seven themes of Station88 in the form of inspiration sessions, lectures, workshops, network meetings and entrepreneurial tables.
The starting point is to contribute to the business objectives for start-ups and growing SME entrepreneurs by helping other entrepreneurs or partners with specialist knowledge or experience. The power of connection and the translation into daily practice are always central to this. The entrepreneurs' house is located in the heart of Tilburg, but is the home base for entrepreneurs from the entire region: Heusden, Waalwijk, Loon op Zand, Dongen, Oisterwijk, Goirle, Hilvarenbeek and Gilze Rijen.
