For this reason, there are clear connections with Luzhou when it comes to Smart Industry and Smart Logistics (train connection, Get ahead in Europe).
During the visit, the delegation was received by GVT Group in the Barge Terminal on Vossenberg. Afterwards, the Chinese guests received a presentation from the Municipality of Tilburg and GVT Group of Logistics.
Train connection between Chengdu-Tilburg-Rotterdam
From the beginning of 2016 there will be a train connection for goods transport between Chengdu in China and Tilburg/Rotterdam. The Chengdu-Tilburg-Rotterdam Express runs in fifteen days between China and the Netherlands. The train connection is part of the cooperation between the port of Rotterdam and Mid-Brabant: Get ahead in Europe. The aim of this cooperation is to ensure that companies doing business on the international market can reach their European customers as quickly and effectively as possible. This direct connection with China shows that Tilburg is one of the fastest growing logistics hubs in Europe.
