Tilburg company in the European Design Awards 2019

Last Tuesday the nominations of the European Design Awards 2019 were announced. The Tilburg company Freshheads managed to be nominated for no less than two projects. Quite an achievement! Freshheads was already in the news earlier this week. She got a place in the emerce 100 list!

The European Design Awards is a collaboration between leading European design magazines, sites and blogs including Dude, Dutch Designers Magazine, a publication of the BNO. The prize was created in 2007 to show, celebrate and promote the quality of European communication design. The organization also strives for European designers to meet, compare their work, inspire each other and build up a network.

Theatres Tilburg

The first category for which Freshheads was nominated is the Digital Identity Applications category. They have been nominated for this category together with Theaters Tilburg. Freshheads designed the website of the cultural company. A good example of Tilburg companies working together!

Young ones

Besides the website of Theaters Tilburg, Freshheads is also nominated in the category Mobile Apps. This nomination is the result of the collaboration with the company Young Ones. Freshheads designed the Young Ones mobile app for this collaboration.

Presentation

The winners will be announced during the European Design Festival in Warsaw on Saturday 8 June. It will be organised together with the Polish Graphic Design Awards and the organisation behind the Element Talks conferences. In addition to the regular prizes, there will be a Best of Show Award for the design that, according to the jury, stands head and shoulders above all prize winners, and a Jury Prize for the case that shows what design is and can mean best for people and society. The European Design Agency of the Year will also be unveiled.
