Warandeloop Tilburg has been committed to more exercise for years and is socially involved. Since 2013, Warandeloop has been working well with JOGG (Jongeren op Gezond Gewicht), the Tilburg Sports Company, De Rooi Pannen Evenementen en Marketing, ROC Sport en Bewegen and A.V. Attila.
With this cooperation, Warandeloop Tilburg will mobilize over 2,500 young participants in the weekend of 22, 23 and 24 November.
In addition, the Warandeloop has an extensive programme for unique sports (for participants with a disability) as well as a walking tour on Saturday morning. On Friday night, the Warande By Night will take place in a new style with experience, light and an urban run through the buildings of Tilburg University. A healthy company with ditto employees is also stimulated with the Businessrun on Sunday afternoon.
Whether you are 4 years old or 90 years old, there is always a part you can participate in!

Besides stimulating movement for everyone, the Warandeloop is the first Dutch project on which refugees were deployed a few years ago. This year again a group of 20-30 refugees will roll up their sleeves and make their contribution to making the Warandeloop a fantastic event again. Refugee team tilburg is one of the five initiatives that is part of the Brabant Outcome Fund (BOF).
The BOF is also an initiative of the province of Noord-Brabant. It is the first Outcomes Fund in the Netherlands that helps social entrepreneurs to increase their impact by scaling up.
The five initiatives that are now part of BOF have now signed the result contract, including the Sarban Foundation in Tilburg. They were given the investment to continue to grow. Both companies in Tilburg offer opportunities to refugees with a distance to the labour market so that they become self-reliant. Participation and development into the labour market are central to this.
