Besides stimulating movement for everyone, the Warandeloop is the first Dutch project on which refugees were deployed a few years ago. This year again a group of 20-30 refugees will roll up their sleeves and make their contribution to making the Warandeloop a fantastic event again. Refugee team tilburg is one of the five initiatives that is part of the Brabant Outcome Fund (BOF).

The BOF is also an initiative of the province of Noord-Brabant. It is the first Outcomes Fund in the Netherlands that helps social entrepreneurs to increase their impact by scaling up.

The five initiatives that are now part of BOF have now signed the result contract, including the Sarban Foundation in Tilburg. They were given the investment to continue to grow. Both companies in Tilburg offer opportunities to refugees with a distance to the labour market so that they become self-reliant. Participation and development into the labour market are central to this.
