Vereniging Tilburg Minami-Ashigara
The association is in connection with the sister association in Japan: Minami-Ashigara Sistercity Association (MSCA). From the VTM and MSCA, delegations are organized and cooperation is central.
The aim of this twinning is to promote friendship and mutual understanding between the two cities and to contribute to the well-being and prosperity of the citizens through a regular exchange in the fields of education, culture, sport, ecology and business. As a result, we believe that the ties between the Netherlands and Japan will also be strengthened. We try to achieve this through exchange visits and local activities and support other activities aimed at broadening knowledge about Japan. In addition to delegations, personal friendships have developed over time which have led to (structural) private visits and continue to do so.
