As if you aren't busy enough, you decide to start a company in addition to your studies. Because you believe in your idea. We understand that and give you the space and opportunities to take your first steps into the exciting world of enterprise. And the educational institutions work with you.
Kees van Rengs studied Strategic Management at Tilburg University and during his studies, he started his own company together with fellow student Niek Franken. Plennid. They immediately drew plenty of attention. They won the elevator pitch and were nominated for the BESI Award 2017. Kees: “We do project development on the basis of circular business models, targeted toward use instead of on ownership (such as the swap bikes, for example). We also look at material flows: "where is the product made and can't we look for materials from the region or other materials? Circular buying is also part of this. Sometimes we do these projects ourselves, sometimes we second them out to people at organizations or communities. And thirdly, we participate in human capital management, we help people into a green job."
